Strange one, cba to reinstall, any software I can run and it just tell me what is going on? Everything else appears normal just for a few seconds every few minutes that happens.

Have to tried re-connecting them to the receiver? I know on most logitech receivers that is you got the button down the lights will flash to show it's reset

Would explain it. Nothing clues in Task Manager, music and video etc. still play OK if they're running.

We often tend to look towards software/drivers in the first instance but do not rule out hardware failure. Do the usual of trying the mouse/keyboard on another machine if possible.

My mate has this on his machine.
He only had the issue running win7. Hes flashed his bios, changed his power pack and uninstalled his eifi adapter and its stopped.

Do you have a different keyboard and mouse you can try?
