i have a crack on the passenger side pillar , bad news ?

depends how far across it is mate, if its more than half yeah its bad news! But... you could either buff off the paint and weld it over OR when mot time comes just put some Duct Tape over the crack and thats it, as for mot there not allowed to remove anything from your car lol so they cant move then tape to see whats behind lol A few of my mates have done it a couple of timess

If you weld it without plating the inside of the pilar it will split again.

its no massive tbh , its where the straight part of the pillar meets the cure of the body , at the level of the bottom on the windows , if that makes sense
