My Sky HD box has suddenly decided not to record program's on Discovery HD. Also wont or rewind on that channel either. I can record, pause, rewind etc. on Discovery +1 and all the other documentary channels.
Any ideas what's up?

Unplugging the box, leaving it a few minutes then plugging it back it........

I unplugged it and left it for 30 seconds then plugged it back in. Does it need to be unplugged for longer?
Switched the feeds round on the back too but didn't make any difference either.

Cheers, I'll give it a go later. Really annoying. I know I can record from the SD channel but when you are used to HD it seems crap.

I'd leave it unplugged all night and see what happens in the morning. If that doesn't work then do a full system reset (Google your Sky box) but i suspect you'll lose all your recording. Failing that, get a replacement.

I had something similar, it seemed to effect all of my recordings and non of the missus' I was raging.
I tried the planner rebuild first, didn't fix it - so went with a complete system reset. Lost all our recordings/reminders - but it now seems to be sorted.
Procedure is on Google/Sky Website.

I saw that was the next step after doing the planner rebuild. Got a couple of recordings to watch then I can give that a go, what a pain in the arse
