This has been annoying me for about 18 months, so thought I should get round to fixing it
Basically my cold bathroom tap opens into full flow with just a tiny bit of rotation, but then it's a nightmare to close - need to get a towel round it and twist it really hard to stop it dripping.
I'm guessing there's a crushed washer in there somewhere, but I took the twisty knob off (tap is easy to isolate below the sink) and couldn't see anything obvious.
Any ideas?
It's this sort of tap:

YouTube shit like that. Loads of guides.
Or lookout for a set of basin taps. Good deals at Screwfix or Toolstation and easy enough to fit with flexis/isolators.

Yeah house is for sale so couldn't be arsed with new taps... but seems like the easiest option tbh.
