So I am about to buy a next gen console... I have always played a playstation but for one reason and one reason only (forza) I am really thinking about buying an xbox one.
What should I do ?
If I buy an xbox it costs more (for now at least) I need to pay for online ... Hmm. On the minus side the ps4 doesn't have forza and will not have a racing sim for some time.
Help.

is it only a racing sim that you're after?
Might be cheaper to upgrade your pc and check out assetto corsa

On PS4 you pay for online as well.
There's not a cross platform game released yet, that doesn't run better on the PS4, so unless you never intend to buy cross platform games, get the PS4.
All the Xbox media functionality is broken in Europe.
Only want to play Forza? Get the Xbox One.
Want the best gaming experience? Get the PS4.
Maybe wait until Driveclub is released, to see what the reviews say. Could possibly be a decent Forza rival, though I do believe they've stated it's more of an arcade racer.

If you read the Xbone thread, people are getting increasingly fucked off with the amount of twats on Forza as well (I'm not saying it won't happen on Ps4 equivalents, and frankly, it probably will, but just a little note)

No GT for PS4 in the foreseeable future.
And no, I'll admit to exaggerating on the cross platformers, but alarmingly many do run better on the PS4.

Just go to https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/ and choose PlayStation Plus in the top menu, then Your Instant Game Collection in the left hand menu.
Once you log in, you can purchase anything with a yellow "Free" tag. (You still need to go through checkout)
Once purchased, you can download any time, even when the offers end.
Each month I purchase all the free PS3 and Vita games, just in case I'll ever get either platform again.
