Hi All, what's the difference between 4v and 2v preouts?

Are 4v ones better in some way, or does it depend on what amps u've got?

its best to get pre-outs with the highest voltage. i.e. the 4v.

This basically increases the signal strength from your headunit to your amp. Thus you can turn down your gains on the amp (which is a good thing as its putting much less strain on your amp). I gather it also cuts down the interference which you may pick up with a lower volt output.
