Walking to work today just thinkin as you do, do you guys think its worth me strippin my interior out changing my 17's for 15's and going down that route as all my money gets spent on my C16XE engine and it seems wasted with all that extra weight and the 17's.
My engines got 150BHP+ but think i will appreciate it more with a stripped out car
discuss lol

i personally think that 16's are the nicest size wheel for B's. you might as well strip your car if you haven't got anything else to do.

I agree 16s look best - 17s in some cases look too big.

imo -get some lightweight racing 15" rims, but i wouldnt put in buckets , in think they just look ridiculous, maybe recliners or semi buckets, but i rekon originals are fine, dont think your gonna gain much by stripping , just more noise!

i have a 1.0L 12V

i stripped it last night, ready for my buckets to go in.

its fun taking all the rear seats and stuff out.

my car is lowered 60mm on 15x205 multispoke alloys, with 45 profile tires.

how often do you have more than 2 people in your car?are you insured on a parents car that you could occasionally borrow if you needed 5 seats?i know a few people who have stripped and i would personally say strip, it costs nothing to take out your backseats etc and the money you get from your 17's should pretty much cover the cost of lightweight 15's. then when you got the money you can think about carpeting and buckets etc, once you stripped your car put it all in sacks and you'l be suprised on how heavy it is! if you wanna take it a step futher you could ditch your air con and replace leccy windows with manual 1s.
hope this helps mate
