started my car today and whenever i slightly tapped the accelerator abit i could hear rushing water seems liek its coming from the heater vents!?!?!?!
just had head gasket done on it but the thing is still not running right! water keeps boiling up within 10 mins of it idling.
anyone help? i think i tmight be a airlock? what do you think? stick a water hose down one of the water pipes and flush it out???

if the waters bubbling, the head has prob gone again, is it pressurising?
what caused the head to go in the first place? did it cook? have you replaced the termostat?

Could be air in the cooling system. Not sure if there is a bleed valve anywhere, alternatively release the outlet hose from the heater matrix from within the engine bay until bubble-free coolant emerges.
Rapid overheating sounds like a stuck/obstructed thermostat.

replaced the head gasket cos had thick mayo on the cap and it was overheating.
changed the thermostat yeah.
also just turned my heaters on and the 2 outer vents dont blow air......

Should also have said you need to have the heater valve fully open (turned up full) when you bleed out air or fill the cooling system.

wheres the heater valve? is it the heater sensor? the bit where the wire clips on to?

What I meant was turn up the heater dial in the car fully into the red section to open the valve.

Did you get the head skimmed? if not then its your head gasket again

didnt get it skimmed but ther head was skimmed 1 year ago when the head gasket went then. 1 year on and i got it doen again 2 days ago. coudlnt of gone again...

due to the overheating it would of warped the head causing the head to go again. That is why u need to get it skimmed. Get a pressure test done mate. Thats my theory anyway, sorry mate

hes done head gaskets for 25 years and he said the head dont HAVE to be skimmed if it isnt hea dgasket will prob go again in about a year but he said cos miens been skimemd a year ago shoul dbe ok.

doesnt matter if it was skimmed 2 days ago, if the engine has overheated and blown gasket, it will need skimming

but that cant cause the water going to boiling point within 10 mins of the car running!?!?

yes it can, if the heads gone, it tends to get hot very quick

if ure goin to risk it take some water with u and watch the temperature avoid sittin in traffic ect

No point in changing headgasket if you dont skim the head, but could also well be cracked head!
