TP208 Kit
For 2.0 Litre 16V XE & LN Engine
Exhaust manifold type needed to run this with this kit *C-2.0L-XE
The TP208 kit is unquestionably our most popular kit, particularly in the Westfield & Caterham style cars. It has been used for road, sprint & hill climbs. The kit gives good all-round drivability with 0-60 in 4 seconds or less on cars weighing 650Kgs or less & returning up to 40 MPG if cruising. A Westfield driven by Trevor Willis using this kit helped him become the overall winner of the 1996 & 1997 CCC Speed Championship.
The TP208 Kit is the basis for all the other kits in the Taper kit range for the 2.0L XE engine, so it's simple to increase the power of your engine output by upgrading this kit if you want to at a later date. When fitting the TP208 kit, the only modification to your engine internally is the fitting of the Heavy-duty rod bolts. The kit is designed to use the Bosch Cream Injectors, Part No.0280 150 744, as fitted to the 2.0L XE engine. When ordering your kit you should specify whether your car is front, rear or mid engine layout. This is because we produce different wiring harnesses to suit each application.

all sbd throttle body kits come with a base map which is very good, so you can run the car on that before mapping it properly. i know people that ran their kit on the base map for a year or two!

sib - look at the prices, there is a price for a kit with coil pack.
corsa808 - they are idiots for running on a poorly mapped car.... they may be running lean/rich.... damage bores etc

i know its not the right way to do things, but both of them had it mapped properly recently and they turned out to be very close to perfect!
probably just lucky

Beardy is sell that lot at bargain price.
Also worth mentioning, that SBD measure their BHP n american standards, which are less strict than EU standards and hence why they are often higher than observed 195BHP is the norm for their "208BHP" kit
