Sony staggered the region launches, and also had enough stock. xbox sold less on launch but its sales probably carried on for months after whereas i can see the sony sales tailing off

no of course it didnt, but demand kep sales going on for longer.
Sony had a big launch stock and as a result i sales will probably slack of until xmas again.
