tap it all way round with a lump hammer, then pull it out, not too hard you break the brick tho.
but first id spray some wd40 all over it ,leave it a day then get the mole grips on tight and try unscrew it

get a pair of molegrips and get a hold of the thread, twist and pull, the bolt should stop the grips from slipping.
or if you just want to take the nut off, do the same as above but just on the nut

Do not batter it with anything , in any direction.
Youre on the corner of the wall so that brick is more prone to breaking or the mortar being weakened. Cut it off and fill it.

yep, gonna cut it then drill a hole below it,
i think its a plug inside the wall (on looking at it closely) so will have to either remove the plug or drill a new hole!

we had them a few years back, just hack sawed them off as close to the brick as possible. Not pretty but does the sob, could always fill the gap afterward anyway to hide the bare end

yeah its an expansion anchor bolt, the bit in the wall would be expanded and the moment and probably rusted to fuck, what you need to do is hit the threaded part back into the wall to push the centre rod back to allow the sides to collapse. hopefully they will allowing you to pull it out. if all else fails, get out the angle grinder, lop it back and then tap the remains into the wall, then fill over the hole.

If it is a rawlbolt you'll never get the whole thing out, they are designed to tighten the more you pull them out by the sleeve expanding over the flared tip.
