ok my 360 had the ring of death the other day after a session on graw, it froze and when i restarted it i had the 3 red lights

now i understand most people would say get it swapped but i have the updated and improved 360(fan in the psu, new disc drive etc) which until now i hadnt heard of one dying

thing is, i could easily go back to game and get it swapped but i only have until november for it to die again and i will be able to get it swapped, after that i will have to pay ms to fix it(no fresh replacement)

now i thinking at work about maybe giving game the extra money and getting a ps3

, so fcuking close to forza 2 being released, and mass effect and bioshock are only round the corner

was thinking about reliability and blu ray with the ps3, but right now the 360 is the one to have and has some fantasic award winning games coming out for it

im going to see my mate tonight who has both, what would you guys do?

I'd upgrade to the PS3 having played one on Wednesday.....

But TBH, the PS3 could be just as bad for failures only it hasn't been out long enough to go wrong.....its the risk you take.

get it swapped, when forza 2, bishock, mass effect, GTA, Halo 3 all hit youll wonder why you spent £450+ on a PS3

I played on a PS3 earlier and wouldn't be able to chose between it and a 360 if they were the same price.

just wasnt best impressed with the gfx topshot.i supose if you havnt played a next gen console it would be the best thing since sliced bread.but i found it wasnt as good as the 360 imo downloaded GT HD and it was same old same old with better gfx imo same tire screeches etc

thats whats making it so hard, i have been following the future releases on xbox 360 exclusives and they have simply blown me away, not to mention the fact that every other week it seems that the 360 gets another exclusive that was meant for the ps3.

but then again i havnt really taken much notice to whats coming out on the ps3 as i dont own one...

$479.99 us dollars and april 29th for north america but we wont get it this side of summer

i heard over here it will be the same price that the premium versions are now and the other 2 will drop in price.

for those saying wait for the elite that means not playing forza 2, mass effect and possibly bioshock when they are released...

if you get it swapped for a fresh one your warranty starts again.

Either get it swapped or buy the Xbox £60 Elite (the black one) might be better
