Hope to go and get one of the 40GB PS3s at the weekend from Gamestation (PS3 + 2 blu-ray films + any game = £325). Seems like a pretty decent deal to me.
What games should I be considering?
I've been recommended Motorstorm which looks good, Call of Duty and Eldar Scrolls Oblivion by a mate. Anything else? I've not kept up to date with releases lately so any recommendations would be good.

Do yourself a favour
For £350 you can get the 60gb version with Motorstorm, Resistance fall of man &an extra controller
Curry's etc were all doing this deal
You get backwards compatability & I think an extra HDMI port?
The blu ray's are a bonus, ut they will be shit ones. IT's worth the extra money for the extra controller & game!

Opps, meant to also put, I'll probably go for Motorstorm and Fall of man......not too sure on the sound of heavenly sword.
Thats a much better deal for only £25!

Resistance is good, never really had anything like that before & I really got into it. Motorstorm is more of a quick pick up & play game. Really good on the multiplayer too

I got the deal from Gamestation with Resistance: FAll of man and Motorstorm.
The blurays are Casino Royale and Ghost Rider. It's a good deal. I downloaded Warhawk for 20 quid and i'm going to get Pro Evo 08 when it comes out.

ive got warhawk, will ave u a game james! i cant talk on the bluetooth headset yet tho...cant get it to 100% talk to the people
u can just buy 1 from a mobile phone as well...i have a jabra 1 that was bundled with the PS3!

Warhawk is quite cool, takes a bit of getting used to. I played a deathmatch against some guys that were clearly experts so it got boring after a while.

Its not bad for the price, but I wouldn't pay £40 for it.
Lego Star Wars is coming soon, which looks quite good, in a cheesy sort of way

It's better paying £6 for tekken than £40 for Virtua Fighter
Best game I've got is NHL 08, hockey games are always amazing. Online play is really good for beating nerds up

Whateverone else has said, Motorstorm and R:FoM.
I got Genji with mine too but I haven't even unwrapped it yet!
Just bought Skate which is good too.
If you register a US PSN account then there's quite a few demo's to try as well.

Nope. You just give it an American address, and you can download loads of demos before they come to the UK.

The Skate demo was much better, and the game is pretty cool. Pitty the online has problems. Hopefully there might be a patch to fix it, but who knows. It's still a cool offline game just skating round the streets tho.

im unsure about skate, played the demo, wasnt bad but im well used to pressing x to ollie like on tony hawks so takes a bit of getting used to
ive just figured out who munter-hunter is lol
