i would have said around 100-105bhp to be honest, thats an increase of 12-17bhp from standard figures which i think sounds about right as the lexmaul will go well with the janspeed straight through decat.

ive read somewhere on here before that the lexmaul is supposed to give something like 10-15hp gain, not 100% sure though.
With what you have already on the car i would have thoguht it would be around the 110-115bhp mark in my opinion.

well im paying 350 fully comp on my 1.4, ill have 2 years no claims in march so its gonna be dirt cheap, its a nippy little thing and surprizes alot of people, its nice to have a quick 1.4 coz people under estimate it for a start and its a minter

I had a 1.6 with mantzel, headwork, mild cams, manifold, de-cat.

That was RR'd at 132 on dodgy rollers with no re-map.

That was a bit of a waste of time tbh.

Yeah, i reckon it could have been up near 150. The cams were very mild, so missed out on a couple of geegee's there. Plus no re-map.

thats your opinion mate yea you could fit a 2.0 etc. but not all of us can get insurance on a 2.0, and some of us dont fully rely on a car with an engine conversion as a daily drive, in my opinion i know i wouldnt if i did the engine conversion by myself, its just finding someone down here to do it, thats local.

Yes it is my opinion. I have this because I tried the tuning route on the 1.6 and it cost a fortune to do.

For power, a conversion is nice, although I will agree a bit tempremental from my experience.

Whatever floats your boat.

They were courtenay high torque cams.

Speak to Dave A about Newman cams, they are meant to be good for the money.

Oh yeah, verniers on standard management need to have the pick up lugs for the cam sensor. Only Dbilas pulleys have that on. They are about £180.

Depends on cams and set up I suppose.

I can tell you that you'll get a good increase if you get it mapped.
