E71 is by far the best phone you can get for £150.

Bump, I'm also on Orange and am thinking about cancelling after their price hike shenanigans. However I'd only want to do it if I can find a better phone + deal to what I'm currently on..

£30 a month - 400 mins/unlimited txts with an HTC Touch HD. Pay £5 extra for 500mb internet usage.

Want a phone with:

Wifi
GPS
Decent camera with flash
Preferably touchscreen
Big storage capacity

Nothing is really interesting me though.

Suggestions welcome (not E71)!

Plus this is a rolling monthly contract.

Freaking ker-ching!! Just seen this. I'll keep my Touch HD and just do this!

Fly in the ointment: I started my contract in Feb, is it true this only applies to customers who signed up from May onwards?

Edit: cancelled

What is the website with all the Terms and Conditions on? It was in general chat a few days back.

I have just called and they reckon because I dont meet the criteria - not going over my monthly free calls over the last 3 months - I can't cancel.

Obviously this is contrary to what the contract says about substantial changes...

I dont have a copy of my T+Cs to hand so need to know what is what...

It's general condition 9.3.

I have contacted Ofcom who have advised me the "not going over your monthly allowance in the last 3 months" criteria is a load of nonsense - I knew this anyway. He gave me an Ofcom complaints number to give to Orange and an alternative number to contact at Orange. Done that and it is being raised at an executive level now.

Number at Ofcom is 0207 981 3040 and alternative number at Orange is 0800 079 0134.

Nice nice

My mate got an iphone today, looked so nice, I'm half tempted to get one.

I just don't know what to do! Could keep my Touch HD and go with the cheap cheap o2 simplicity or get another normal phone+contract. Got till the start of next month until this contract concludes!

I have recently bought an E71 which I am more than happy with so I'm going with the O2 simplicity £20 pm deal with the unlimited web bolt on.

Fcuk paying through the nose for an iphone for the next 18 months.

After browsing the web looking at other new phones, the iphone-love has subsided a bit, I want a camera with a flash.

Although I'd like the £100 Quidco cashback that you get with a 12 month Simplicity deal, I think I'm going to get the 1 month rolling, then I can get a new phone when one comes out that I like.
