on another note im down for pre-order for the new xbox 360 S cant waitttt
i've had mine since it very first came out, love it but its not hd so isn't as good picture on me better telly =( hopefully new one lives up to it

I'm pretty damn sure that your xbox360 console can output HD, if anything you have the wrong cables.

I assume you only have this one



Just get one like this and it'll output 1080 no problem.

early ones dont have HDMI, so its not proper HD is it? will it be 1080i rather than p?

1080 whether 'i' or 'p' is HD.

No matter which console it is, hdmi or not, it can do all the resolutions including 'p'

Difference between HDMI and component cables is marginal too.

so if i get that second cable you showed it'll make the picture alot crisper and finer?
