The holiday vouchers I sell, I also sell on eBay.
People try to buy them again who have previously bought, and physically won't let them. So they've just been putting money in my paypal, and I send them out.
Is there a setting or something i'm doing wrong here? I've got an eBay shop, registered as a business seller, and not in arrears or have multiple resolutions open or anything.
I would phone eBay, but i've not got the time today.
Thanks for any help
Alex

There's a seller option to restrict people who've bought from you in the last month, could be that?

quote: To add buyer requirements to your listings:
1. In My eBay, under the My Account column, click the "Preferences" link.
2. In the Seller Preferences section, click the "Edit" link. The Buyer
Requirements page opens.
3. Select your buyer requirements. These include blocking buyers who:
- Are registered in countries to which you don't ship
- Have a negative feedback score
- Have received Unpaid Item strikes
- Are currently winning or have bought '1-100' of your items in thelast 10 days
-Do not have a PayPal account or credit card on file
-Have not gone through phone verification (for PayPal)
4. Click the Submit button to save your requirements. The requirement(s) you select will be applied to your current and future listings and can be disabled at any time.
Turns out it's only last 10 days, but it could be that?

Just checked that out Brett, nothing was ticked at all, upped the number to 100 anyway.
Very strange and annoying, granted i'm avoiding eBay fees with them sending direct money via paypal, but how many aren't repeating the buys and not emailling me.
Guess i'm just going to have to phone them!

What does it tell them on eBay when they try to buy something off you?

It's easier to talk to them through their online chat thing. Like with most chat systems a lot of responses are "canned" - i.e. copy and pasted - but you do sometimes get human replies.

Jesus guys, it's just some little voucher he prints out on his printer, get over it You must realise the prices are always offset to make up the difference from the supposed saving anyway.

Some guy in Manchester prints them, why manchester? He fucked up on his quote and stayed with the price, so continued printing with him
(They are completely legit too btw, they do save you money).

I had a guy on uk business forum message me the other day asking if i wanted to give his holiday vouchers away at the parties we are starting.
Dont get how he was making money as he was giving them away? Must be some affiliate scheme?

My theory is, that every single person that books a holiday through these places has a voucher. It's just a little bit of paper to make you think you're getting a good deal when the price will be offset to make it up anyway. You'd probably find that the price without the voucher is just silly and way more expensive than anywhere else (i.e. If the voucher is for £300 off, then you'll probably find this place is £300 dearer than the cheapest alternative place, probably more).
Not trying to knock Alex's gig here, just commenting on these kind of things as a whole. It makes him enough anyway so I doubt he's assed

Pretty much it Brett. You do genuinly save money though, if your Cruise is £1200 you do get £300.... but the same cruise is probably on lastminute.com for £900 anyway.....
I've got repeat people that buy and buy Dan. One guy buys £500 a month now, never asked him what he uses them for, doesn't interest me. A lot of people use it to close deals.... Car dealer "If you buy today, i'll throw in a £100 holiday voucher" (the dealer probably bought it for £5 so worth it, and the customer thinks its £100, so happy days all round).
