right before i put my cage in i didnt drill all the holes out now i have 4 left that i cant get a drill into , before anyone says remove the cage , it will not come out , so any ideas how i can drill them out , went to a tool shop and had a look at a side drill but with the drill bit in it it would of been to long, the hole needs to be 10mm wide,
so suggestions please

Or grind the plate off, prep it and re-weld.
That might be easier than finding the hole from the other side.

You'll have a weld mark under the floor where that plate has gone on, just take your measurements from that.
Doesn't matter if the lower hole is a tiny bit out. In fact you could go a big larger on that so you've play in the final fit.

In fact, might be worth revisiting the plate anyway because the front hole doesn't look completely cosy.

One of angled chucks that goes into a drill. drill a small pilot hole from the top, then drill the 10mm hole from the bottom

this sounds like a winner to me , can even put a nice gromit underneith and will look all nice then, the front bolt was just to hold the cage in there until i got the bigger bolts
thanks cs

get a right angle drill with a small drill bit, once you have drilled the two holes then go threw with the 10mm from the underneath

I'd have said an angle drill with a centre drill in it.

What do you mean by a centre drill out of curiosity?

Think he means a drill bit specifically for making a centre point / pilot hole? Used them on lathes before
