As some of you know I have been looking for a lockup and being tight not wanting to rent storage. Since I met the mrs the apartment being a bit on the small side. Someone is planning for a family too
Offer has gone in, been accepted and solicitors are doing there part. Being a repo, we should have the keys before Christmas.

Garage is big enough for the Corsa and plenty of bedrooms to store my crap. I'm happy with that for our budget. Corsa being at my house might bring me to putting it back on the road at some point.
Cuts around 40 minutes a day off my commute also.

That's a ridiculous price!! And scope or your own stamp on it as well-good but if it all comes off. I've had two repo's fall through when I was well down the line, hope you get it without too much hassle.

Paying just under the stamp duty.
We viewed a house across the road a couple of weeks back and I was asking the guy about this one as it's 30k cheaper (got to be cheeky). Apparently the family had to move out quick around a year ago. Only details I can find out. Being a new build, even more happy it's freehold as well.

Don't think St. Helens is 'that' bad. My sister lived there for 2/3 years and didn't have any issues.

Nice gaff
Are you backed onto the train line though? Could become a massive pain in the ass.

looks great but having lived in St Helens that area is not known as the best area to live hence reflected in the price
As with any area they have good and bad places but near Junction Lane is not exactly the nicest place
Good start and good luck

Aye, my Gran lives just round the corner from that estate. Yes the Liverpool to Manchester train line does run past, you get used to it. Area wise, the main problem is gypsies, you don't know which house they're going to buy next. In Leonard Street for example, they bought the bungalow at Junction Lane end and now the other houses on that street aren't worth a carrot. Other than that it's actually not that bad an area in my opinion, there are parts of St Helens where I'm not comfortable walking around during daylight and I wouldn't even consider it when it's dark but even on a night, walking around Sutton is fine.

St Helens in general looks 'old' and by that I mean run down and very samey. But at the end of the day, you are getting what looks to be a nice sized house, for cheap and it gets you on the ladder.
If it's not for you after a short period of time you simply sell up and make money. Shimples :-)

Little update, I've just been reminded that a gypo hung himself in a house on Telford drive so that's potentially the house and if not then they own a house on that road.

It's a possibility that this is the house. It's like who ever has owned the property has spent money on it but at the same time not looked after it.
