has above cheapest place to get one or can i get one off another car????? i wanna remove the tailgate button and wiper, and i wanna keep the numper plate recess and i think it looks better like that

also i dont know what the mot will say about removing the button, has i'v not had my motor mot'ed yet has it runs out in july.

do you have to take the rear wiper out to have a boot pop kit ive got one havent got round to fitting it just want to know if i have to take the rear wiper off??

you dont have to no, but it will mean you will have to run your own wiring through.

or you could leave the wiper on and just have it not working

will that fail mot?
ill run wiring throu i think
theres two wires is it switche dit pos-neg open. neg pos closed? cheers

you can switch it either way. doesnt matter as long as it gets a ground and live. my switch was connected to the live, to press the switches and it closes the circuit and activates the solenoid.

Well having no rear wiper doesnt fail the MOT. You could use the wire for the rear window demister, i dont think thats necassary for MOT either

so if i wired it to the rear window heater when i pulled the heater knob the boot will open?

only danger is if you accidentally pulled it out while driving, but you can mount a cut off switch on the dash to prevent that

cool theres only two wires so one to ground and other to poss on the heater.
then bolt it up as normal

yup it works fine but like i said, you would want to fit a cut off switch so u dont accidentally pull it out while doin 100 down the motorway

only pulled it out on the day i bought it
i may fit it nxt week on my day off
