i started experiencing server problems last night but a quick quit to the menu, unplug and replug and back into gt life seemed to cure it.

the problem with GT5 graphics, is that all the backdrops and scenery are essentially flat bitmap images, so in stills and photos they look photo realistic, when actually playing though they tend to stand out like a sore thumb as a flat canvas

I did that and it eventually let me back in, but the other cars were flying all over the place at about 600mph and just hitting everything
Given up now anyway.

yea your right steve they use high quality resolution images on flat buildings etc, its a bit of a cop out but to make the buildings in 3D would just be stupid really.
pauls ferrari was a good example of the quality, the house behind the car looks photorealistic because its an actual photo.

hey was surfing the forums last night on the nightshift and came across folk having problems with gone like the wind event i used the ZR1 and won easily and also the American event under extreme i now need the old 60s race on expert and the rand turismo allstars one on expert to do also
