Great result for McLaren , 2 in a row, all about the strategy. Was fun chasing Chris and Paul down after the pit stop, was going my hardest at it! Ended up pumping in a 1'26.0
I think it was the pearlescent paint that made me quick.

haha, strategy fail.
I was thinking 10 laps left, we were doing 28/29's on worn tyres ... and so you'd only be doing a second or two faster a lap - I thought we were safe not to pit.
However, Chris started getting a bit slow - 2 min 30-2 min 32. But then when I tried to take the lead, I'd wear my tyres harder and then he'd draft me and attempt a pass making me slower / making me work my tyres hard.
So I just sat behind chris waiting... really backed off nursing the tyres. I was planning on just passing him on the last lap and taking the win and then I saw Jamie's lights behind me approaching fast each lap.
I thought 'shit, ok - gotta get past chris and kill the remainder of my tyres trying to defend from Jamie.
But as I got past Chris and started making a break for it, I accidently understeered into the wall at the chicane DOH! Then I was just worried I wasn't going to catch chris by the end.
Ultimately, I should've pitted, or made chris chase me around for a few laps to try to pick up our combined pace. - but I knew i had left it too late

I only pitted because the 4 car battle was slowing me down and killing my tyres, I was trying to fend off sausage and keep up with you at the same time. I struggled getting in to the pits as you were up my arse and Chris was right beside me so I had to slow you down then jump over the curbs
I was actually disappointed that you both didn't pit on the next lap, I missed the battle , I was trying to do the 'undercut' and wanted to see if it would work , went wide in turn 5 on the outlap so if you and Chris did pit it probably wouldn't have worked anyway.
But the chase was fascinating, eating into the lead every lap then when I eventually caught up it was like taking candy from a baby, looked like Chris was trying to thread a needle
What happened to you Sausage? You were right there in the battle then you just seemed to disappear?

Probably, there the most gutless car I've drove in GT5 I think, theres no fun factor at all from them
Next race should be 500PP in any FF car. I want to take my green DC2 out for a race

i had planned to pit about half way through but just thought fuck it.. so i juat kept going, by lap 17 i couldnt turn unless i did full lock. lol the tyres died so quick after then. i was going to pit but it was a waste of time as id never of caught back up.
i actually thought it. was afun race.

Yea it was a fun race but only because we were in a good battle. If it wasn't for the battle I can't imagine I would've finished that race

i no i wasent much of a battle for me and webbo at the back, but it was good trying to battle each other out,in the end i beat webbo as his tyres gave way on the last lap,but it was one of the best races ive had on gt5 and with me and webbo battleing i didnt get bored like normal.
but yeah the cars were good and quite easy to handel for me anyway but they were abit gutless

its simple really, the faster the cars = the more precise you have to bo to be fast so people without a wheel have no chance in competing, the slower the car means that even the pad boys have a fighting chance at competing.
i prefer racing cars which actually take some skill rather than just foot down see what happpens sorta thing.
