as far as i am aware the racing : softs are actually the 'qualifying' tyre and should wear down faster than the others, but they dont..
i think thats why PD use Racing Hard in the races.

You would say that I think just about everyone else would say the same about racing tyres tbh.
racing tyres still spin up, kick out etc.... they are more realistic TBH. With a controller anyway the sport softs are VERY vague, dont turn in etc

racing tyres are slicks, but the softs are qualifying tyres, super sticky..
on a pad they might seem realistic, and the reason they kick out for you is because you are using a pad, get the racing tyres on a wheel and there is way too much grip because you can gently turn the car into the corner not just go to full lock.
when you get a wheel you will see.
also if the sports are not turning in its because your going too fast.

I find the sports turn in fine once they've warmed up. Or you're just going too fast as Chris said You have to treat them completely differently to the racing tyres, you have to brake earlier etc.

I'm not retarded I know you have to go slower with shite tyres
I guess I just find it crap with the controller....
In real life I use slicks/semi slicks on cars on track.... so prefer grip to vagueness

do the seasonal events to get cash, or the special events..
i wouldnt waste time doing the licences as you gain nothing really useful.
you can then start racing online for cash/exp or you can sit and do a-spec/b-spec

dont go to online bit, click community on the GT life screen, then find my name in the list, might need to scroll down depending how many ppl you have online, click my name and then you should see a button called lounge with an orange icon above it.
click that.
