The fastest i got was 1:50 but again it was offline.
Also when we race you can draft off people, so we should all be slightly faster.

Been on Shift 2 this afternoon. Will be glad to get back on to gt5 later after this much frustration. If shift 2 had a proper tuning system and AI that didn't hit you for no reason it would be a half decent game.

Was a good race! I really enjoyed that one.
I knew I shouldn't have pitted then, but just thought I'd do it for a laugh. Then I messed up chasing jamie...
Was good though, I enjoyed driving those cars... if you pushed it would understeer, or oversteer - but ultimately to preserve the tyres you wanted to do neither... but then you'd have to keep the pace up too ... was quite a good battle, where we all kept swapping places, where I would watch someone lay down some rubber and be thinking 'excellent, their tyres are getting shredded'.

I wasn't going to pit, I could've kept going on them tyres but the battle with Paul was too good so I decided to pit, gave it everything on the in-lap which left them shagged , was good having plenty of grip for the last 4 laps being able to push it to the limit for the 1st time in the race!
Was a race about preserving tyres.
@Dave and Ant, that last race my screen just stayed black don't know what was happening, sat for about 2 minutes then signed out of PSN.
How did you find the setup Dave?

It's alright mate, i went in flat out, hit the wall then you flew in front and then my pitlane auto pilot started reversing out the pits Which is when i went "what are you doing?!?"

That's weird, Jamie To up you were sat on the pit exit haha.
Setup was good and didn't slide all the time like how i had it kept locking up the front wheels on some corners though. Also had to take it fairly easy so it didn't understeer

Yeah same
I wanted to give my tyres death, although I could've limped the original set home till the end, (they were just above half at lap 14 when I pitted).
I was shocked when you came out of the pits ahead of me, I realised my in lap (didn't know where the pit lane catchment 'started' and the out lap must of been balls. Then I was just trying to get into your tow, but was just too far away - damn.
I think we should do those cars again.

Yeah I was pretty shocked too, I expected it to be close but you were quite far back, had to laugh when you out braked your self, all I seen in my mirror was your car shooting straight past the corner
I'd be up for using them cars again, was a good race.

Yea it was strange, I could hear yours and ants engines and I could hear your mics, don't know what was happening, probably because of my shit connection. Got an ethernet cable on the way to hard wire my PS3, hopefully it will solve all my problems
glad you liked the setup, I got someone of my friends list to set it up for me was terrible before hand.

I went in flat out as well. Saw you like sideways, i tried to brake and i went sideways as well But as i went sideways it went into the pit auto pilot and i couldnt move, was just driving into the wall

haha... Yeah, I remember looking to the left and seeing '100 yards' and thinking 'oh shit, that's too late'.
- Also, I was pushing hard to catch up enough to get into your slip stream, was gaining ever so slightly - giving the tyres death... was just starting to catch, when Dave said 'Paul does your mic still work?' (or something like that?) ... or maybe 'Paul I bet you guys haven't pitted yet?'...
Either way, I went to chat back and took attention off what I was doing and just lost it! I then knew there was no way I was going to catch you up by the end
Those cars are interesting... you need good throttle control, and keep it sensative to not burn the tyres in the corners... but at the same time it feels like a heavy barge - so there's a lot of control needed there, like lift off oversteer / trail braking to get it to turn in onto the apex. Was good fun.

All Daves fault then
It was hard to know how much to preserve my tyres without being too slow, at the start I was preserving them too much and you and sausage got in front so I upped the pace. I learnt in the race that it would be best to stay behind you and let you set the pace and I'll go the same while trying to apply pressure.
Which Caterham do you want mate, standard or fully tuned?

either is fine cheers.
- Yeah thats the problem, in quite a few of these races now, the best tactic is to stay behind the leader and preserve tyres (using his slip stream to make up the difference) ... problem is, if everyone does that - we won't be moving haha...
That said, if you are on a track where the straight is short / less chance of everyone slip streaming their is a chance you could break away.
