I know a lad who made his dad stay up till midnight when it was launched to go to the shops and get one. They got harrased waiting outside by some drunk people then some lads followed them home He could have just waited 12 hours and got one without the trouble

As time goes by the price of the PS3 will drop so sales will probably stay steady imo iirc tbh
But I couldn't give two shits about PS3's and Xbox 360's as I've grown up - plus you can't play WoW on them

sony were easily able to break the record by shifting 165,000 units as everyone knows what a cock up microsoft made at the 360 launch which lead to the 360 being very hard to get hold of even weeks after the launch

of course it broke the record every other console sold out on its launch.
Also the ps3 will not see a price drop for a very long time imo, sales will die off that is inevitable it happens with every sysytem.
However, the fact there are systems left in stock all over does kind of imply theres not to much demmand for it.
only time will tell obviously. but who cares theres room for every system.

cant see it for a while tbh considering there losing money on the systems at the moment as like most of the new consoles.
