I saved the file as .exe and it installed fine. I have the icon and everything but it wont load but when I click again it says its already running. Check my task manager and it shows nothing is running.

Hmmm, then... I dunno, weird one that. Have you looked at processes on task manager for fm.exe? If it's there, then "switch to" it.
Sorry if you have and you think i'm talking to you like a pleb, but if you dunno about PC's then...

Well, I gave in and went for City. Only got a transfer budget of £55m tho  But a lot more of a fun way to test the demo rather than being Crewe.

Gutted, this shite pc has just crashed. Can never be arsed going over what i've just done. Really need to get a more stable pc. THink I'm going to take the plunge and get the game though. I'm liking it.

Just failed at life....
Didn't save the game since last night and was in November, laptop battery just died, forgetting I plugged the phone charger in 
Nevermind... as for the game, really liking it 
One thing....
When you want to transfer a player & money for another player, how do you actually select one of your players? Do they have to be on the transfer list to begin with, or can you do it on the sly "Privately" so you don't upset their morale?

Nope, you can choose any player in the squad to exchange them.
When you go for exchange player, go to other players, then select him in the main screen, right click on him, should have exchange player at the top (iirc, might be wrong though, trying to do it from memory) either that or it pops up in the bottom left.
Has got Offer to clubs on there which i'm happy about.
First game of the season for City, United away, won 1-0. next up is Liverpool at home. Nothing like a nice easy start

I'm up to 2030 on FM09 with Crewe, so it's had a lot of use, and exchanged players a few times! Just seen an FM2010 ad on TV, only a couple of weeks now!

5 hours with Crewe today, starting to get a little annoyed with it now, was 1st at the beginning of Dec, now 7th after an awful few months for no real reason. The joys of this game

Mines staying on about 5 bars of installation, saying "creating local game cache files"... Its been on there for about 25 minutes now. Anyone got the same?
