I also think there wont be anything about the next iPhone next week, i think it will be in the September convention.
Apple made the right move with launching the 4s before xmas.

That looks good.
Won't be next week, even Apple can't take the piss that much, how many people would be stuck in 2 year contracts with a 6 month old phone

Never they are huge not even like a phone, Apple wont increase the size, in phones size matters and the others out there are just to big.

I agree, docked on your bedside table and you want to listen to music with headphones in... never gonna work.

Don't think I've ever used a dock and headphones at the same time.
They won't announce until September, smart phones sales will slow down 3rd quarter in anticipation and it'll be the best selling iPhone ever. Etc.

I like the second picture because you can see the unibody design, it's genius really as its such a simple idea yet I dont think I've seen it done before.

The older style iPhones have one part back with a screen stuck on the front?

At the moment it is looking like an evolution rather than revolution. I hope a bigger screen is not the major headline feature.
I have a feeling that IOS6 will be one of the major things this time round with 'some' features only available to the iPhone5, even though now the 4S has more than enough spare capacity to run most things.

Wasn't true unibody though with a separate bezel and dock. This is one peice with a screen bolted to it. If the'y could make screens that didn't break I'd imagine it'd be pretty tough too.

Tends to be line-out level as it's taken from the dock connector; so useless for headphones without amplifying.

I think you're right bigger screen then they'll do what they did with the new iPad, play on the graphical power. Sources are hinting towards the A5 again with LTE but using the new low power technology along with a boosted GPU. New Screen + better graphics = full marketing strategy.
By the way the hardware is N41AP / iPhone 5,1 not iPhone 6.

I really can't see how they can do a full aluminium unibody. The 3/4G / Wifi antenna wouldn't work hence the random black section at the top of the 3G iPads, the bottom of the original iPhone and the corner of the iPod touches.

Swap bigger for higher res there, they'll make the screen a bit bigger as default for the next resolution jump though.
My mind is well and truly made up.

I also don't see how a higher res screen would be of use?
It's not gonna look any better than it does just now and if it's to cram more stuff on the screen, elements are going to become too small to accurately touch surely?

Features that I want are..
Much improved GPS - the GPS in the phone is cr*p compared to a tiny GPS nugget I have
Much improved Camera in low light - Its still not a patch on my 6 year old canon camera for low light
Better Battery
Better Reception
Temperate gauge
Wireless Charging
IOS - Much improved Photo handling. The current syncing model is broken. Its designed to be synced from something rather than using the phone it self to create events and keep these in sync with the computer.
Matched iCloud space to the size of the phone for real storage and removing the requirement for computer backups/syncing
just for starters
