It's fairly simple stripping down the PS3 and getting access to the drive is 8-10 screws. Getting to the disc might be a bit more difficult though....

if i can get the disc drive out my mate can dismantle the disc drive its self to get the the disc but i was hoping there was a way to take the disc out without dismantling the ps3

been offered a like for like on my ps3 for £110 from sony with next day collection of my console and they hand me a new on there and then or if i send it off i will pay £110 and wait 7 working days and get a 120 slim line ps3 in exchange
