That could actually look decent if you go about it the right way.
Solar panels on the roof and hide the corrugated steel.
Look forward to seeing how this pans out.

I'm a bit lost now. If you want it to look like that why not build the outside like that and have a nice inside?
Spend the money saved on the container on toys for inside.

Outhouse? That's not a container
Probably better off doing the timber frame. Would work out cheaper and be much much easier. Putting a container in a garden sounds like a logistical nightmare.

Agree. Why use a container in the first place if you're going to put up a building around it?
Can do some cool solutions, without covering the container.

Though I kind og agree with John, most likely it'll just end up looking like a container dumped in your back garden, so might be better off building an actual out house.

I have researched the whole housing containers extensively and love it. It is however a load of work to do it right!

Very good episode. Carbon bath was a bit OTT though! Wasn't it like 4k?!

I could've sworn they said 16k, also couldn't work out how the plughole worked, just emptied onto the floor? Looked shit and uncomfortable too

I mentioned the grand designs episode on page 1, n00bs. Keep up.
It was a wet room so the water just drained onto the floor and down the hole.

just buy a big log cabin a hell of a lot cheaper than an old container that needs work to get it to do what you want it to be for

It'd be terrible for sound however and you'd be forever trying to damping the container - easier to stick with a solid wall building.

It's been done already, you need to be more original.
