i should be about.
ill just quickly think of a car... erm... Lotus Europa on sports softs.
standard power/weight as usual, everything else is free to be modified, weight / power and PP limits will be in place so you cant cheat.
track.... erm.... not sure, maybe clubman stage 5 as we never done that one.

Standard power again.... boring... clubman stage 5, I hate that track.
I'm not racing if thats what it is.
Fully tuned plus Racing softs = much more fun.

love the cars but not on sports softs .. there racing cars .. gotta be racing tyres .. atleast racing hards.
i was thinking of a gt300 race to get things going but set power limit to say 350? . there slow but there is the 4x4 cusco subaru for people who dont like rwd so will give other people a chance. and allso making it 2 races of say 15 laps .. first race being grid position fastest first then having another 15 lap race straight after but on reverse grid of last race?
or 1 long race where you WILL have to pit atleast once to make it to the end.

a jgtc/gt500 race would be my fav idea but i fear it would put some people off with having 500 bhp and no tc .... unless we allow tc?

I am not keen on the JGTC cars, how about some good V8 road cars, like Jag XKR's or mercs?

gt500's restricted to 350 sounds ok.. but why do we have to use bloody racing tyres, they give you no real feel of the car its just like they are on rails and its just not fun. for me anyway.

i cant expect you to really understand what i mean since you dont have a wheel, i can imagine they are a pain in the ass just letting to all the time.. but you actually can feel the car moving about on sports tyres, you feel the character of the car so much better.
to me driving on racing tyres is litterally just point and squirt and just turn in at the right time, maybe if you are going too fast then you will get abit of a moment but venerally you just fly through all corners.
my reasons for saying that is from when we raced the nsx's at suzuka, there was no times i really had to lift bar the tight corners and then all i did was just lift, coast turn then boot it, buy the end i was taking that left hander alon the back straight flat out at 150mph and it just felt wrong.
so.. that aside what we doing tonight ? jgtc350 on R:S @ eiger? lol

so what does that mean Chris?
Where do I get one of those cars from? or do I just buy a stock one and tune it?
(I don't really understand the whole GT500 thing).
- Also what about racing hards chris? for Sportyboy's sake? if I remember correctly, racing hards feel less grippy than sports soft to be honest, so the car should still move about etc.
it's just racing softs which are odd.

the cars are race cars so are already fully tuned.
the cars which have 400+ bhp like the nsx, gtr, supra etc need restricting alot on the power but they are still ok to drive.
the racing hards are fine tbh i tried them earlier.
