Stoney think the only reason I won was my car seemed just a touch faster, try changing the final gearing or get rid of the spoiler, the MX-5 handles well as is just slows you down other then that you would've got me lol.

Drive it offline for a while, then go do oil change and engine rebuild. I did about 300 miles and mine has 202bhp now

haha yeah it was a well matched race otherwise will try changing the gearing, though on some corners you were lighting up and i think the spoiler was keeping me planted, i may just loosen off on the down force a touch see if that helps

you dont need the spoiler on the mx5, i suppose it may help pad users keep the back end a bit more planted, but with good throttle control there is no need.

Yeah with the pad its sometimes hard to control the corners but you do get used to it after a while, my preference was to let it slide a bit and keep the speed up, might experiment with the spoiler and change the downforce then

after 8 laps i managed a 1:13.716 (legal).... I had a 1:13.021 but it was red for some reason
I removed all the angle off the rear wing, and set the gearing for about 149
Mine is 200bhp now.

do the Seb Loeb challange in the special races. They arent hard, only 3 challanges you need to gold to get the C4 WRC

I might get online to practice tonight, but I have Thursday off work so will probably batter it then too
I'm not entirely sure how much difference the rear spoiler makes, I do think that the downforce needs adjusting because it feels as if it might be a bit too high at the moment. It seems to bog down at times and I think it's the spoiler causing it. Could also be Chris' setup which is supposed to understeer slightly as he said. Will play with both

if you are adding downforce that will cause it to understeer more than the natural (non wings etc) setup.
The aero is on the rear only, so any pressure on the rear lifts the front.
Did a few laps with Lee (zx6kart) and Rittman this morning
