Ant - I've just set your car up exactly the same as mine and got a 1:13.354 lap. You should now leave the settings as they are for this race. I agree with AK in that I think you are going too fast into the corners, understeering, then going full throttle and sliding round and into the walls. Slow down a bit and take it more steady, brake a bit sooner and you should be able to get round the corners better.

best ive done is a 1:13.8 so far .. bought an mx5 yesterday to see what the fuss is about so mihgt join with the little race sunday if bt sort my internet out so im on more than 1mb :/

The first 2 are hard, I'll not be hammering them in the race the way I am in practice.
I think where you can make the most time is turn 5 I think it is after the tunnel, I keep losing time there.

yeah i keep losing time there , aswell as the last corner , trying to get that bang on is hard as if you dont it fvcks it up for you down the whole straight prettymuch.

Yeah first couple of corners are tricky, think I need to take it slightly wider as I keep getting close to/clipping the wall on the uphill bit before the tunnel.
I think the trick to the corner after the tunnel is to knock it down into third just after you come out and brake with the overrun, this slows the car down more than going quickly into second, then if you can get a decent line through the chicane you're laughing.
