think tracks should be kept simple and kinda wall free 
ie not city tracks.

i dont mind city tracks if they are fairly wide and simple, monaco was a bad choice on my part tbh.
ideally your looking for something 2min a lap and below.

Quick question,
Playing in gt mode, only up to level 12 and no cars get crash damage do i have to turn it on or something?
New to ps3 but quite impressed with the game apart from not seeing and crash damage yet

It is there im sure, i never did anything to get it.
You do have to batter the car about to see it, online is far more realistic in regards to the impact damage.

Just finished golding every liscence :coo:, super liscence was probably the easiest out of the lot tbh and its supposed to be the hardest
And chris, your a cock, a bloody OFC lol, fair trade imo , do you still need/want a non turbo VX? Just bought one for you if you need it.

What view do you guys use? Cant get used to the in car one, so im using the front bumper one.
When you race, do you turn all aids off? And do you mess around with gearing much?

i use tge view where you can see the bonnet, id much rather use the incar view but it shackes about too much for me.
All aids apart from ABS are turned off.
Gearing is a quite important part of tuning so yes its always fiddled with.

Yeah I wouldn't feel too bad James, most of these guys have been practising that combo for the last week - tweaking setups and doing plenty of laps.
If you do an oil change on your car, it should take it up to about 197 bhp - which will be a lot closer to most people's amount.
You should join in the next one
A nurburgring FULL '24 hour circuit' with slow day / night and weather, 10 lapper would be pretty awesome

Yeah I need more practise. I hadnt been on that circuit til ten mins before the race last night. Turned out to be a great choice though in my opinion, a nice range of corners.

I got so pissed off last night.
About lap 35, i decided to let the dog out while in the pits.
As i let him out there was a cat by the door. The dog decided to go off barking like mad chasing it round the garden, so i had to run in the soaking wet grass to grab hold of him.
Totally fucked up my race. Caused a massive row with the missus, and wasted a weeks worth of practise!
Im over it now
