Chris, can you post your settings for the MX5 or something? I will be on tonight but when I tried it the other night I couldn't get under 1:40.2  Pretty sure it's down to how the car is set up but we could always do a couple of laps later with my current settings if you like.
Thought I was going to get a 1:39 a couple of times but then ruined the last bits

i only go online and do the seasonal races, and sometimes do the licences.. i dont even bother with a-spec now we get exp for online.

I still need to finish the last two Expert races Have the cars for them now, just not gotten round to it yet. Don't know if I can be bothered with the A Spec endurance races. Hour long online MX5 race is enough

I've only did one endurance which was 4 hours at Tsukuba and it was quite painful
I haven't been brave enough to do another yet

i did the full 24hrs at lemans on GT4 on my own. I did the entire race as my mate said he would come round whilst i was in the middle and take over.. did he... did he fuck lol

Go to driving options in the screen before the race starts, iirc its the one at the top.

Done the race round Deep Forest with the Toyota 7 (cheers again Reecemac) but can't do the one round Monza  The car has no grip in a straight line unless you're stupidly gentle on the throttle. 4th and 5th gear it's alright though Goes like a rocket when you can get the power down.

I found Monza hard, you just have to go like a bat out of hell at the start and get up to first, after that its easy, the AI don't even try to overtake you even if you go silly slow round corners
If you still can't do it I have a Chapparal 2J you can have, my B-spec driver walked the same race with it, if he can do it any one can
