the touring cars will be a different race to the MX5 races, the MX5 races will still take part on a sunday tho i might alter the time to suit more people.. they will deffinatly be supercharged tho but tyres will remain the same i think, need to test this out.

I'v just had a thought.......
The touring car league is going to be a little difficult as not everyone has got one and you cant by them from a dealer.
Also they differ in handling/weight/bhp by a fair bit. this will make racing unfair??
What are peoples opinions on switching cars to the japanese grand touring cars?
Like the NSX/Supra/Skyline/350z which are already race prepped? (All of which are available from main dealers)
They are alot close in terms of fairness.
Discuss......

I just found them very boring to drive, as did other members who also quit, which is why Corbin went in a huff

I think we should stick with the original idea of touring cars, there was plenty of interest.
If you think people might have an unfair advantage in the touring cars Mike then how about putting the slower drivers in the higher powered cars and the quicker drivers in lesser powered cars.
Might help with evening out the field.

We should just set a cap to say 500 bhp, that way the people who have cars way below the limit can put turbos on etc, so everybody should be about the same, i wouldnt be interested if somebody was telling me what car i have to drive. I'll be using the astra anyway which seems somewhere in the middle.
I think most people have touring cars dont they? if not im sure there are plenty of people with more than one to spare.
