Fucking hell, so between now and Wednewsday I need to get myself an awesome chair, steering wheel setup, and maybe a spare ps3 from somewhere so I can run the latest firmware and play online 
This game isn't going to cut it in just single player and a joypad me thinks.
edit - also if that torrent is real which I'm pretty sure it is, at least it confirms the game is going to be shipped

well if you watch that stream up there ^^ there is a guy playing with pad and it doesnt look too bad, but you would have no chance playing online without a wheel

well.. i use the G25 and love it, deffinatly worth it for the 6spd shifter and clutch (toe and heeling is actually a necessity here as it helps to stablise the cars under braking, there are videos showing it)
and for a chair.. i just just a office chair and a table, you can see it in my vids in this thread.
if i had the space id get a playseat or a vision racer

you could get a DFGT or DFPRO but in my eyes your are limiting yourself from being able to really enjoy the game, especially since your a keen racer / driver

emr, G25 has use of a sequential shifter as well as the 6 spd but then the g27 has better (marginally) force feedback
and yes, it depends how much you want to spend

Most of the cars he is showing seem to sound a bit dull if I'm honest, as usual they seem to have concentrated on putting a shit load of high end cars in, 5 VW's and only 2 are normal everyday cars

to compete in the 24hour races you need a team of drivers, at least 4 inc yourself..
so you need to build up their strengths
