you can set the resistance lower in settings in GT5... Settings - > Wheel Settings -> Feedback strength.


How have you got it mounted to the desk?

how did it feel for you paul? or didnt you use the dfp on gt?

I took it down to 1 and there still feels like an unrealistic amount of resistance. Does it reduce at higher speeds - when I use a quicker car than an integra?

I mounted it with the one clamp paul and it doesnt move much, going to put double sided tape under it later and it will be fine. Cheers again Paul.

I havent upgraded still cos I took the stuff up to my flat last night and havent got it online yet so il do it later. I have accepted your friend request though Chris.

Paul what does the round plug that comes out the wheel plug into? We got it working by plugging it back into itself but it doesnt make much sense!?

as far as i remember youshould have 3 leads.

1. from pedals to wheel (9 pin serial lead)
2. powerlead
3. usb lead

do u have another?

Yes one more. It comes out the wheel just underneath the front and plugs in next to the socket for the 9 pin serial. Before it was plugged in the wheel wasnt working, just a green flashing light.
