It doesnt have to have anything other than an Apple logo. They could re-shape the 4, shove a better camera on it and call it an iPhone5, the vast majority of people would still queue round the block for it.
The nerds, which inhabit threads like this obviously want it to be more powerful, but most people who buy apple products, do so because they're told to and they want to be 'cool' they couldnt give a flying shit whats inside the phone, as long as they can throw birds are egg stealing pigs

Yes I bought my iPhone because I was told to. Just because it has an apple logo. I also bought my BMw because of the logo, when I could have purchased a Vectra which would have done more and be cheaper.

I'm a fanboy, just don't tell anybody that my iPhone is my only Apple product. My fellow fanboys would disown me.

Ah the good old, 'its only good because it has an apple logo' argument.
I thought people might see past that by now.

The only reason i'd get one, if i did would be the app store which is far far better than anything else out there and has a lot that interests me that isn't available on other platforms.
E.g. Sky go, which appears to be iPhone only
Which could make me a massive gigantic hypocrite when my contract is up in November and i have to choose between the iPhone and whatever android is best at that time.

As well as that you gain 16 cool points. Well worth it IMO.

I have an old school iPod 80gb and an 8gb touch that i got off my bro for free...do they work as some kind of multiplier for my cool points?
I would personally still prefer a keyboard tbh, but i'll have to see whats out in nov

I've got an iPhone 4 in my possession again
I was trying to use safari on it last night instead of my desire.
The android browser is, 100% no fanboi or trolling, better.

It's no way near as tactile. Faster though.

Faster, reflows text better, displays the original page better in the first place without you zooming in, scrolls better, I actually went back to the desire at one point because it was pissing me off.
On iPhone5 news, engadget have an apparent prototype front casing with what's possibly an LED notification bit.
I bet Stevie J has been following me on here.

Love it when people say it must do this and it must do that I think that LED notification is about all I want that it doesn't have at the moment Easily pleased. One of the major reasons I have an iPhone is cos it doubles up as an iPod. Saves having a phone and an iPod to carry round plus probably works out a similar price, possibly cheaper.

A light that flashes when you have a text/missed call/notification etc. In case pressing a button and looking at the screen is too much like hard work.

a light flashes if you"ve got a msg, or missed call etc, saving you precious seconds and battery that touching the screen would waste

Nothing to do with pressing the screen, it's to catch your eye if you might otherwise not be looking at the phone, not sure why manufacturers leave it out considering it's only a wee led and doesn't detract from the lines of the case.
