Depends how varied it is I guess, I mean, could I ask it "Who are crewe playing this weekend" and then it'd automatically search the net and answer for me? - That'd actually be quite impressive
It does. BBC did a wikipedia example. You ask Search wikipedia for crewe and it will bring up the page for you.
Can also respond to texts, E.G someone txts asking if you are free friday. You ask the phone "check diary friday" it will check it and tell you, you are free, then send a reply to the person saying "Im free Friday"
Pretty decent tbh!
and then it'll book them in to you diary

Disagree, I have used android phones and their UI is bad, clunky and slow/stuttery. As I said my colleagues have android phones, hero, desire, sensation and galaxy s2 and they all feel horrible to actually use. Their defence is always to try to justify the poor UI / OS by quoting specs... 'Ah but my galaxy s2 has a 1.2 dual core processor'
The question is, have you really used an iOS device? or do you just disregard it because
I've went from a Desire to the iPhone4 and I think it's a step backwards for useability. Naturally, the quality of the product is far better, but I prefer Android to iOS and I'll be returning to it as soon as this contract runs out unless Apple make quite a lot of improvements.
Oh, and my 4 has crashed more than my Desire did

Dont liek the shape of the 4/4s compared to the 3GS as i stated upon release of the 4. However over time the thinnes of the device has appealed to me somewhat, plus the "feel" is a step up fromthe 3GS and feels very solid with the dual glass.
My 3GS is now out of date" and im looking to upgrade to a 4s. Totally unsuprising they just upgraded the innards and kept the form, 2year cycle to coincide with development and contract lives I would imagine. So this means that to an iPhone 4 user this isnt much of an upgrade sure but my only gripe for those people is they waited over a year. Possibly due to problms with the A5 cooling?
iOS is a delight to use and working in the industry i was in daily contact with all kinds of OS including Androids and tbh they wow me sometimes with certain features like live wallpapers and emulators. But the rest of the time they are buggy and unreliable. 99% of the customers who reported issues with iPhones it usualy conisted of hardware or them being a fucktard. Android was ALWAYS software. To the l33t g33ks this isnt an issue, anyone else its just an unnesecary PITA.
I shall be purchasing a 4s as its un upgrade to my 3GS.
Kind Regards

It uses WolframAlpha for quite a few queries, which is an impressive and powerful service.

Yep good for the blind. I was more meaning when is the average joe going to use it? I'm not going to walk down the street speaking to my phone telling it what to write in a text message

Why don't people bitch this badly about Apple not releasing a new MacBook Pro since, what? 2008?

This is what makes me think jailbreakers won't be able to port it to iPhone 4 as an 'official' connection will have to be setup in order for it to utilise wolfram alpha for the stuff it can't do itself.
Might get one on pre-order just incase. Cant believe they haven't had cooling issues with the nehalm

Yup, something interesting is meant to be happening when all the new stuff gets released by Intel. Going to be nearly a year to wait for that though.

The oleophobic coating on my screen has worn off. Pretty good reason to buy a new phone, maybe I'll pre-order one too
