Think I've resigned myself to getting one of these now. Will probably only be the 16gb as the 3.5gb in my Desire has managed me fine for the last 18 months
Looks like I can still get £100+ in recylcing for it as well

its simple.
If you have a 3G or 3GS just go to a 4S its a hell of a step up!
if you have a 4 just stick with it.
for me its all about iOS5 it adds stuff that i have wanted for ages.
I would just stick it on my 3GS but the battery is shagged on it and its not in the best condition so im going to go Sim free and stick on my Simplicity as O2 tarrif's have gone up from when i took mine out.

Better notifications, the LED alert is what I wanted agaes ago.
Ability to sync across all devices (i know evernote etc... does this)
RTF in emails and documents.
Messaging between iOS devices (again i know theres apps that do it)
Wireless sync
All things I wanted along time ago, is that ok with you

It's not really got an LED alert, it's the worst LED alert I can think of that you require the phone to be upside down.
Rest of it is meh, and as you've said, has been available for a while.

Yep giff gaff = O2 which is crap round here.
I'm trying to justify the upgrade for Siri alone, even though I'll likely never use it. I'll be gutted if I buy one and they port it to the 4.

I can't understand why they haven't put a separate LED in it rather than make it the camera flash  It will no doubt be on the iPhone 5 and called iLED.
