This happened to me with my iP4, they paid straight away but I still didn't have the balls to send it out so ended up taking PayPal 4 weeks sort it out.

I'm thinking about putting an ad up now too as its going to be flooded with them come Friday...

Do you think £175 is a reasonable price for my white 3GS 16GB, no charger or USB. The screen is in perfect condition. The back has a few scratches and one crack on a corner, just normal wear and tear, not that noticeable. Fully working order.

Most I can get on a recycling site is £130 so was thinking of ebaying it if I can get more that way.

I just paid £100 for an 'as new' 3GS in black, 16gb, boxed with all the bits. Going straight to Carphone warehouse for £140

Which I assume means we'll recieve Friday.

*edit* there were reports of apple sending some customers the phone 1 day early in USA.

Thats generally how it works, you have to send something a day or 2 before you want it to get somewhere
