I'm downloading it but its absolutely pointless as nobody else I know has ios5, so I wont be finding many "friends"

Find my friends app interface, guessing it'll work like Google latitude. Good for stalkers I guess

You can just search anybody on that? You have to invite them and they have to accept first before you can 'find' them? This is no good for stalkers

but it isnt hands free! you have to push a button. then pick it up to check its got it right

They still saying it will be released around 6pm our time? When linked my iPhone to iTunes earlier the check date for new software changed from what ever it was to the 13th ie tomorrow

My car has a place to put the phone so you can see the screen without picking it up. Pressing a button once is basically hands free? I have to press a button on the steering wheel to answer the phone and that's classed as hands free... Siri will also read an incoming text out to you.

It will be a lot better and safer than texting whilst driving the current way. Not sure on the legality of it though

You can use the button on your earphones, so don't have to take your eye off the road though.

ios5 out at 6pm, will get it, actual first update i'm looking forward to getting, loads of new features that helped with a decision not to get a 4s, cheers apple
