Although o2 are terrible, it's not as if they haven't publicised the way they are doing it.
You better be down quick in the morning, I doubt a name stuck on it will count for much.

I think it would have been better if instead of pulling the notification bar down from the top (like Android) you swiped it up diagonally from the bottom right corner and the page rolls up in a similar fashion to the Maps app.

yes they have publicised it but it does make me laugh
they basically want me to go and queue for ages first thing in the morning to get a new phone. and there is no guarantee that i will get one as they could be sold out by the time i get to the front, what a waste of my time that would be
then they have the cheek to say that they are looking after existing customers by only allowing them to get it first in store. if they really wanted to look after us they would have let us pre order the handset over the phone and had it delivered

Thing is, I've rung my local store and they say they're not opening until 9am.
I don't mind getting down there early, I'll go and queue up at 5am happily, but if the shop doesn't open until 9am, who's going to start 'the initial queue?'.
What's the bet that at 9am it's just a mad rush for it and therefore any prior queuing before 9am is just utterly pointless?

I'd bet against that, there will be a queue from tonight by all the sad acts who want to walk about shouting to Siri all day.

John, the first question I'm going to ask Siri is why you're such an utter cunt

i feel for you John, such an avid Apple fan.
Mines on the way, i'll let you know what its like tomorrow.
Im half tempted to stick it on ebay for a ridiclous buy out, just to see if it sells.

The 16gb seem to go for around £540-550 on auction, which would end you with a loss, one went today for £480.
The BIN ones are going for about £599 which would land you with £40ish profit. I'd rather keep it given you'd have to wait over 2 weeks for another.

If they aren't going for enough to cover all the hassle they are going back (or i'll keep one and give the missus the other )

I said this a long time ago in this thread, they can release whatever the hell they want and you'll still get people queueing around the block to get one on release day.
Everyone on here was fuming at the announcement, but have all decided to get one on release date anyway

Right can someone spell it out for me?
I'm due an upgrade in December but can early upgrade for a fee now.
If I turn up first thing what exactly am I going to have to pay? Is it at all possible?
