its dead easy i've just done it to put my m3's on! u need to pull the rubber boot off the internal adjuster then the panel around this just pulls off. Then there are 3 8mm bolts to undo and the mirror will just come off then! Just remember to take the rubber seal off your old mirrors and put it on the new ones if your new ones didnt come with a seal!
