Round a corner + some speed = knocking from cars front, especially when on 3/4 full lock, is it just my cv boots need renewin ?

cv joint has gone.the boot is just the rubber that stops dirt getting in. its probably perished therefore exposing the lubed joint to the elements therfore now its fooked.

i hav the same problem when i steer full lock left. its embarrasing, especially when ur drivin round a car park full of people. and dangerous dave is right its def the cv joint. ive yet to get mine fixed...

i got a rattle going anyspeed from front right (specially over bumps) and knocking on steering wheel, this is on an 03 plate SRi..erm its goin in tomorrow to get bodywork fixed, but I was hit rear quater not front right?! any ideas incase Lookers can fix (wudnt surprise me?)

yeah i get knockin from the drivers side on motorways goin over 70 and when i go over speed bumps and potholes, dunno what it couls be, i've had the noise since i bought the car
