I currently own a Corsa C 1.2 16v and am looking for ways to make the car faster.
From what i can gather the quickest and easiest way is to use the engine from either a 1.8 corsa C/Astra 1.8 mk4 as these have the fly by wire throttle and other ECU/electrical systems as my current corsa.
what would be invlolved in this who would be able to do the conversion (i have the money and have found a donor car.

quickest way would be to sell it & put the money you are going to spend in an engine conversion towards getting something like a 1.8 sri
engine conversion in corsa c is big money

as above you may as well sell up and buy a 1.8 sri

yeh but the 1.8engine is coming from a astra mk4 (same engine as the corsa C 1.8).
Surely this would be a striaght swap, engine,gearbox,ECU.....etc.
none of the hassle of trying to put an older non fly by wire engine in.

Also the car is a cat D crash, so selling it i wouldnt get alot anyway.

Don't buy a 1.8 just a waste of money.
