right heres the situation. I have 3 computers on a LAN network connecting to adsl

3-10.0.04
2-10.0.0.5
1-10.0.0.6

when i ping 10.0.0.4 from any machine i get a reply but when i ping any of the other computers (1 and 2) i get an error and no packets received :S ne ideas whats up?

do they have unique ip numbers

the router has an ip and each pc has a lan ip

yeh the router has a ip of its own. then each computer will need to dial individual ip to the adsl i do belive. Could be wrong

1 - What router have you got?
2 - Is it doing DHCP?

its a spark com router and it is using a DHCP host and in the router settings it says there are 3 machines connected and lists the ips i mentioned

try the spark com website for troubleshooting. I have a linksys router so don't have a scooby about anything other. I sure Trotster can help.

Ok, what OS's are on the PC's?
Can they ping the router, just not the other PC's?

The error message received when you try to ping those machines, that'd also be a useful thing to know.
