Right, my corsa 1.4 16v sport done 75,000 miles an had the clutch cable adjusted twice coz the pedal keeps droppin an the guys at vaux garage say it'd gona need a new clutch, over 300 notes coz gearbox will have to come out too. Does anyone know of any cheaper options, or had same problems with clutch, HELP GUYS

300 notes  i paid 170 for a new clutch fitted in my gsi!! they are taking the piss....dont take it to main dealer any decent garage will be able to fit a clutch!! £300

local grage could probably doit w/out removing the gearbox as some on the corsa have a window that you unbolt to do the clutch without removing it

A vaux clutch will cost more than £80.
I bought a new (not remanufactured) clutch from AV for about £65.
Black diamond are remanufactured. Apparently they still have the GM stamps on them lol

Cheers corb mite take u up on that but can't ast the minute coz got my phone robbed last nite an have to pay £70 for a new one coz it wasnt insured, I'll let u know
