well bigger discs mean more surface area for the brake pads to 'grab' and therefore you stop quicker and with much less effort

these brakes are great, alltho mine were only 100 quid.

i uprated mine to cavalier gsi dics, discs, pads and calipers 15 quid
bargain!!

They do make a lot of difference, especially when braking from speed. However on mine even with ABS if u stamp it does lock up to some degree, methinks they r a bit too good.
Also the pedal feel isnt great as the callipers were designed for a larger master cylinder, making them spongy on a corsa. Still work great tho i would reccomend them.

I have the LMF V6 brakes and I think they are sooo much better than 2.0 ATE's I ran before. I actually like the pedal feel more - more progressive so you can scrub the speed a touch nicer than the on/off feel of my 1.2 standards. I give em a and the price is mint.

noonster - you could try the front brakes off the new 1.7CDTi 16v? they come with 280mm ventilated. maybe ask LMF if he can get hold of them? i know he can get the SRi 260mm brakes as someone on here bought them for his sxi.

not to sure about the LMF disks anyways. Like how many holes are drilled in them?
Get v-tunning ones there only a fiver more and onlyhave 4 holes

LMF ones are just redrilled standard ones, most aree lkike this, i have black diamond ones and they are actually made with 4 stud conversion in mind, from pvd

just out of interest as never really work on a corsa C?
is the bolt offset on the caliper and knuckle differant?

i thought the corsa c had some sort of inteligence system which wired into calliper? we tried them on my mates C but they wouldnt go on, well different

yes mate i tried some 16v gte brake calipers on mine and the bolt offset is way out
