u need to sand it before the primer too
and i wouldnt use 320 grit between the primer and the arden blue, and you also need to use the right colour primer!

You can get everything from halfords but its not cheap, the wet/dry paper isn't too bad but the paint is £5 for 500ml and £7 for 750ml. Go for the bigger can. You may need two cans of each to get it done nicely.
High build plastic primer is what you want, although never seen this in halfords before.

1. Rub down with 400 grit
2. Plastic Primer (Grey)
3. High Build Primer (if the surface is still a bit bobbly and u want it smooth)
4. Plastic Primer again (Grey)
5. Wen your satisfied, the arden blue.
6. Any imperfections use 1200 grade wet and dry to just smooth it over.
7. Laquer-Step 6 may also need to be repeated here also between coats

the high build primer can be bought in halfords, its called U-Pol and is a £10 for a can, you can use filler primer instead.

^^^ Make sure primer/paint is dry completely, and you get RID of dampness and dust.

dont forget to warm the laquer before hand, it goes on much smoother and does go milky (which laquer is renound for doin), also leave laquer to dry somewhere warm.
